Is An Audiologist:
Audiologists
are specially educated and trained to identify, assess, and manage hearing disorders.
Audiologists
in private practice are autonomous professionals who usually provide a full range of
hearing evaluation and hearing rehabilitation services, including hearing aid fitting and
dispensing, for both children and adults. Audiologists must hold a minimum of a
Master's degree in Audiology and be certified to practice by the American Speech and
Hearing Association and/or be state licensed or certified.
