What Is An Audiologist:

Audiologists are specially educated and trained to identify, assess, and manage hearing disorders.   Audiologists in private practice are autonomous professionals who usually provide a full range of hearing evaluation and hearing rehabilitation services, including hearing aid fitting and dispensing, for both children and adults. Audiologists must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Audiology and be certified to practice by the American Speech and Hearing Association and/or be state licensed or certified.

  • Master of Speech Pathology and Audiology, University of Washington,  Seattle, WA, August 1978.
  • Bachelor of Science,  Speech Pathology and Audiology, Purdue University, W. Lafayette, IN, December 1975

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from American Speech and Hearing Association since 1979
  • Certified Audiologist in Washington State, Certificate #216-02-1002
